Tiny Tigers
Purpose: Our purpose is to provide young children with the positive influence of the martial arts. This specially designed program is a total learning activity that stresses the learning developmental skills, positive values and good character through repetition and games.
Ages: Children age 4-6 years
Instructors Mission Statement: We pledge to help young people learn patience, concentration, humility, self-discipline, self-control, and respect. We intend to enhance the successful lives of children through both personal development and achievement.
The Tiny Tigers class is designed with development and attention span in mind. Using short exercises and games, children work on things like balance and coordination, respect and humility, self-control and self-discipline. The skills learned during these classes directly apply to school readiness and basic childhood development. Keeping activities short allows them to better remember what they have done, and repetition enforces the skills they are building so they don't easily forget and their body can become accustomed to the basics in preparation to move on to the Little Dragons program.
